Awake O Israel

by Pamela Bodine

For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Is.61:11

It is amazing that we don't have to pray, neither do we have to fast, or have a conference on what the earth should bring forth or what the garden should cause to come up according to what has been planted in it. It just happens! We are seeing in a natural earthly operation the sovereignty of our God! We can discern the sky and predict the weather, but all over again we allow a spiritual veil to cloud the realm of the Spirit. There is no problem with Him, there is no problem with the written Word, but the problem lies between our ears.

There is, however, an awakening to righteousness in our midst. Amen! As we discern that we truly are in the day of the Lord and in that day that the finished work of Christ was completed, not half finished, but perfectly completed! The veil over our minds has been torn into and has been removed. Halleleujah!

In Rom.10:3, Paul said that the Jew was ignorant of God's righteousness. It was because the veil is still upon their minds.Furthermore, verse 3 declares that had gone about establishing their own righteousness [what they thought was right] and not submitting themselves to the righteousness [what is right] of God. Whaat does submit mean? Let's look at it for a moment. It means to be under obedience, to put under, or to make subject to or under. It really is just believing God that when He says that we were made His righteousness [what is right] that we just come under it!

No wonder, that when the Prophet Isaiah under the unction of the Holy Ghost in Is.60:1 said "Arise, shine for thy light is come, and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon thee" . He was prophetically speaking of the finished work of Christ. This was not a some glad morning that was penned, but it was a here and now! Halleleujah! The veil is gone!. He sat down at the right hand of God the Father. We are seated with him in heavenly places. We are seated as a finished work! We must see ourselves as seated, thus declaring that we are completed! For us to believe otherwise is another gospel!

Our mandate is to speak forth what God has already done in the person of Jesus Christ We are to go forth and tell folks it's time to wake up. For so long well meaning pastors, teachers, evangelists and some so called prophets have continually preached don't sin, don't sin. Those that have sat under these messages of condemnation are more frustrated than ever. They think Christianity doesn't work. What they don't understand is that what they have been hearing is another gospel! It really has been calling evil good and good evil! But the truth will always set us free. We will be liberally liberated! Praise God! When we awaken to the truth that we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ , that awakening will absolutely cause us to understand that sin no longer has dominion over us. Sin was put away by the sacrifice of himself according to Heb.9:26. Beloved, now are we the sons of God [1John 3:2]. It is now righteousness that has dominion over us!! Glory be to God! Our consciences have been sprinkled by the blood of Christ [the anointed one]. He wants us to be righteousness conscience and we caan because of the work of the Cross in the shedding of the blood of the anointed one [the Christ]. Halleleujah! Now that is good news!

Let's go back to Is.61:11.He says that just as the earth buds and the garden will grow what is planted , the Lord God, sovereignly, will cause righteousness to spring forth. When this unveiling or uncovering [revelation of Jesus] occurs, it will produce or result in praise. Something mighty in the midst of us is stirring! I believe it is the Lord God! He is sovereignly doing what He has sovereignly spoken. It will cause that praise to come forth and it is a new song. It is the song of the Lord. It is what He is singing. He is singing it over us. We are hearing it with the ear of the Spirit what Father is singing and we are beginning to sing what He is singing. That's heavenly music. Don't limit or underestimate the sovereign Lord, for the Lord thy God is mighty in the midst of you!
